David J. Goodman, CPA, MST

David joined the firm in 1988 after working for 2 years in the Metropolitan Services Group of PriceWaterhouse in New York City. Prior to this, he attended the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management degree. In 1995, he received a Masters of Science in Taxation from Seton Hall University. As managing partner, David is currently responsible for overseeing the operations of the practice as well as working with a client base of closely held businesses and individuals. As an expert in working with dental practices, David has spoken to various dental organizations on tax and management issues. David is also a frequent contributor to Doctor of Dentistry Magazine. He is a member of the Academy of Dental CPAs, the New Jersey Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. David is also serving on the boards of trustees of many local and national not for profit charities.
Catherine Marotta, CPA, CGMA

Catherine Marotta joined LB Goodman & Co in 1978. She became the audit partner in 1989 after being the audit manager for the previous five years. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology from Ramapo College and a Master's Credits in Finance from Farleigh Dickinson University. She is a licensed certified public accountant and is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the New Jersey Society of CPA's. She is currently serving as the Treasurer of Kozlov Dance International, a non-profit performing arts group. In addition to her vast experience, she has extensive knowledge of internal controls, taxes, and international business.
Jacqueline M. Shamieh, CPA

Jacqueline Shamieh joined LB Goodman & Co in 1993 and has been a partner since 2001. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting from Rutgers University and is a licensed certified public accountant. She is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the New Jersey Society of CPA's. Her experience includes work on many audits (including non-profit companies), as well as a broad range of tax services for businesses and individuals. In addition, she is the partner in charge of managing the workflow in the office. Her duties also include technical review of financial statements and tax returns.
